Family Day Starts the 2018-19 School Year
As a school of choice in Community Consolidated School District 59 the Ridge Family Center for Learning has always operated on a balanced calendar. We have the same amount of attendance days as other schools, but start our year three weeks earlier than the other schools in our district. The 2018-19 school year began July 25 with many eager students and families attending our Family Day to kick-off the year. Families learned more about their new teacher and classes, as well as information from the principal, Dr. Bohanek. Some parents stayed for lunch with their child. The afternoon included team building activities for the classes on what was a beautiful summer day. A huge thank you to our families for attending and participating in this special start to the school year!
