Letter from the Principal
Dear Ridge Learning Community,
Welcome to Ridge Family Center for Learning! My name is Jill Doles, and I am honored to serve as the principal of this exceptional school community.
As an educator and school leader, I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of student success. When schools, families, and communities work together, we create the conditions for every child to thrive. At Ridge, we are committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
I bring more than 20 years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach, and administrator. Prior to joining Ridge, I served as the assistant principal at Brentwood Elementary. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting educators, and ensuring that every student has access to high quality instruction and opportunities for growth.
At Ridge, we believe in educating the whole child. Our dedicated staff works each day to nurture students’ academic achievement, social emotional well being, creativity, and character development. We are committed to providing rigorous, engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Through these experiences, students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed both now and in the future.
Our school vision reminds us that we are all Agents of Change who use our hearts and minds to connect to the world and our future. This belief guides our work as we prepare students to become thoughtful problem solvers, compassionate citizens, and lifelong learners.
To our families, thank you for entrusting us with your children. Your partnership is invaluable, and I look forward to working alongside you throughout the school year. Together, we will continue to build a strong school community where every student is known, challenged, supported, and celebrated.
