CCSD59 families celebrate start of fall with annual festival
CCSD59, like cities around the area, rang in the start of the fall season over the weekend with the second Fall Festival held at the Administration Center. Families, staff, and community members enjoyed a day of giveaways, music, food, activities, and more.
Students could be found participating in games, running obstacle courses, winning raffle prizes, getting their faces painted, and doing their own painting on pumpkins. Many staff and PTO members spent their Saturday setting up booths to greet families and share information about their school and the district.
A vaccination clinic was also held to offer the seasonal flu vaccine and COVID-19 boosters to families in partnership with Jewel-Osco.
