Back to Football Friday
On Friday morning, September 7, from 8:30-10:00 Ridge students participated in physical activities related to football as part of our Fuel Up to Play 60 participation. Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture, to help encourage today’s youth to lead healthier lives. These non-contact activities included throwing a football, kicking a football, and running different drills while carrying a football. Healthy food choices and physical activity have been part of Ridge for many years and are part of our mission of growing strong minds and strong bodies.
